Amy’s Puppy Pre-School

Our Puppy Pre-School is suitable for puppies between 8 and 16 weeks of age, with the ideal starting age being 8–10 weeks.

To attend classes, your puppy must:

• Have received their first vaccination
• Be healthy and fit to participate
• Wear a flat collar or harness with a standard lead (please no retractable or flexi leads)

Beginning training during this important developmental stage gives your puppy the best opportunity to grow into a confident, social, and well-adjusted companion.

Amy’s Puppy Pre-School is a four-week course consisting of four 75-minute classes, held over four consecutive weeks.

Throughout the course you’ll receive:

• Fun, practical, hands-on training sessions
• Helpful take-home notes and training resources
• Ongoing guidance and support to help reinforce your puppy’s learning between classes

Our focus is not only on teaching your puppy but also on giving you the skills and confidence to continue their training long after the course has finished.

Graduating from Puppy Pre-School is just the beginning of your training journey.

Amy can help you continue developing your puppy’s skills through follow-on training designed to build on the foundations learned in class. Depending on your goals, this may include:

• Everyday obedience
• Loose lead walking
• Reliable recall
• Confidence building
• Trick training and enrichment
• Real-life manners and social skills
